Section 30-54: (CMU) Central Mixed Use Zoning District (1) Intent. This district is intended to permit both large- and small-scale downtown commercial development at an intensity which provides significant incentives for infill development, redevelopment, and the continued economic viability of existing development. The district is also intended to retain the existing “Main Street” characteristics of the core blocks in Oshkosh’s historic downtown. Residential uses are intended to occur at a minimum approximate density of 10 dwelling units per acre. (2) Principal Uses Permitted by Right.
