    This 60-acre recreational parcel is located in Onota Township, along the southern shore of Lake Superior, in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The property consists of three 20-acre parcels. The western parcel includes 9.77 acres of woody wetlands, 6.5 acres of mixed forest, 1.35 acres of developed open space, 0.80 acres of evergreen forest, 0.42 acres of low-intensity development, and 0.24 acres of pasture/hay. The middle parcel features 10.35 acres of mixed forest, 9.39 acres of woody wetlands, 0.32 acres of evergreen forest, 0.14 acres of pasture/hay, and 0.05 acres of low-intensity development. The eastern parcel is made up of 10.78 acres of woody wetlands, 7.95 acres of mixed forest, and 1.51 acres of evergreen forest. The "Harvey to Autrain" Multi-Use State Trail, formerly the Duluth South Shore and Atlantic railroad, crosses the property. This east-west trail spans 30 miles from Marquette County to AuTrain and is known as Trail 417 on some maps. It is signed, graveled, and groomed seasonally for snowmobiles, accommodating hiking, biking, snowmobiling, and ATV riding. Highway M-28 is approximately 1 1/2 miles northeast of the property, providing access to hiking trails through old-growth forests leading to the rocky shoreline near the mouth of the Laughing Whitefish River and Lake Superior. A public access site with a small gravel ramp for boat access is located at the end of the trail. M94, a few miles south of the property, provides access to the 1,728-acre Laughing Whitefish Lake Preserve, situated between the Laughing Whitefish Falls Scenic Area and the Hiawatha National Forest. The area is known for outdoor recreational activities.
