This district is composed of certain land and structures to provide for the retailing of commodities and the furnishing of services which depend upon a great volume of vehicular and pedestrian traffic, such as gasoline stations, supermarkets and drive-in theaters. The furnishing of a public water supply does not constitute the sole criteria for reduction in minimum lot area nor shall said reduction be deemed inherently approved or established. Any proposal to modify the minimum lot size must be accompanied by comprehensive data such as any negative impacts on the watershed/water supply of the City of Providence/Providence Water Supply Board and effects on the town's rural character and any such data or information as may be required by the governing boards, commissions and officials of the town. M General Manufacturing. This district is composed of certain land and structures for light, clean industrial uses. The land included in this district are those suited for use by most industries, subject only to those regulations needed to control congestion and to protect nearby residential and business districts, and protect the waters and watershed of the water supply of the City of Providence. W Watershed. This district is composed of all the property owned by the City of Providence under the jurisdiction of the Providence Water Supply Board. The property in this district is used for the collection, storage, processing and distribution of water and, as an incident thereto, the planting and harvesting of forest products and the production of electricity. The boundaries of such districts are hereby established as shown on a map entitled "Scituate Zoning Map" filed at the office of the Town Clerk of the Town of Scituate.
