PUD The purpose of the planned unit development district is to allow for the development of substantial parcels of land for large-scale or unique development concepts not otherwise permitted within a standard zone district. Employment Center - Mixed-Use EC-MU The purpose of the employment center - mixed use district is to provide for a mix of complementary land uses including office, residential, and commercial uses within areas of the city traditionally intended for large scale employment focused uses. Uses within the district include offices, places of public assembly, commercial retail, and residential development. The district is intended to allow for daytime and evening activation through employment uses, commercial uses, and residential uses. Employment Center - Neighborhood EC-N The purpose of the employment center - neighborhood district is to provide for small- to medium-scale employment focused uses within enclosed buildings within the proximity of areas traditionally intended for residential, institutional, recreational, and commercial uses. The district can support limited residential uses, such as live/work units, and supporting uses such as assisted living facilities, congregate care facilities, and nursing homes. This district allows for a variety of neighborhood-scaled uses that complement and support neighborhoods. Industry and Business Employment Center - Light Industrial EC-LI The purpose of the employment center - light industrial district is to provide large-scale employment focused uses within large footprint enclosed buildings with limited outdoor accessory uses. Uses found in this district may be light-industrial uses such as warehousing, wholesale, logistics, advanced manufacturing, and flexible use buildings. The district can also support office and medical uses, and subordinate commercial retail. The district complements uses found within adjacent mixed-use, commercial, and industrial zoned parcels. Business Park BP The purpose of the business park district is to provide for the development of offices and enclosed light industrial uses in a campus-like setting. This environment may also include residential uses that are closely related to office, medical, and commercial use, such as live-work units, assisted living facilities, congregate care facilities, and nursing homes. As of October 5, 2024, the BP zone district shall not be utilized for initial zoning or rezoning.
