(CB) The Central Business District is the central shopping area of the Town. It is established for those uses that normally require a central location and which provide merchandise and services to be used by the entire Town and its environs. It is intended that this district shall develop and be maintained as a tightly knit core of commercial activity. The Neighborhood Business District (NB) The Neighborhood Business District is intended for the use of those businesses that are properly and necessarily located near residential areas and which cater to the everyday needs of a limited residential area. This district may also accommodate mixed use developments. Properties within this zoning designation should be located on a major thoroughfare, minor thoroughfare, or collector street. The Highway Business District (HB) The Highway Business District is intended for higher intensity, primarily commercial, uses that are located adjacent to major highways and provide goods and services for the traveling public. The Light Industrial District (LI) The Light Industrial District is established for manufacturing, assembly, distribution, and warehousing operations which can be operated in a relatively clean and quiet manner, which will not be noxious to adjacent uses. The Heavy Industrial District (HI) The Heavy Industrial District is established to accommodate industries that primarily involve the production of goods from raw materials. However, it is expected that industries will minimize emission of smoke, dust, fumes, glare, noise, and vibrations.
