Section G. Central Business District (B-2). It is the intent of this district to establish an area fo r concentrated general business development that the general public requires. The requirements are designed to protect the essential characteristics o f the district by promotion of business and public uses which serve the general public and to discoura ge industrial development which does not lend itself to pedestrian traffic. In order to achieve the intent of the district, as shown on the Zoning Map of the City of Church Hill, Tennessee, the followin g uses are permitted:(Amended by Ord. No. 377, 02/18/03) (1) Stores and shops conducting retail business, and any business permitted in the B-1 zone; (2) Personal, business, and professional services; (3) Public and semi-public buildings and uses prov ided that public and semi-public buildings and uses shall first be reviewed by the C hurch Hill Regional Planning Commission. (4) Business signs, parking lots and garages, and advertising signs; (5) Lodges and clubs; hotels and motels, restauran ts, and similar services; (6) Apartments; (7) Hospitals, and nursing homes; (8) Gasoline service stations provided that all st ructures, including underground storage tanks, shall be placed not less than thirty (30) fe et from all property lines.
