In order to achieve the intent of the C-4 (Recreational Commercial) District, as shown on the Zoning Map of the City of Gatlinburg, Tennessee, the following uses are permitted: 709.1 Commercial Planned Unit Developments entailing such recreational uses and accompanying service uses as theatres, miniature golf courses, golf courses, swimming pools, major amusements, ski lodges, restaurants, motels or hotels, rinks, courts, and similar uses. 709.2 Public buildings and uses approved by the Gatlinburg Planning Commission. 709.3 Signs as regulated under Article IV. 710. C-5 Crafts Commercial District. It is the intent of this district to establish areas for the production and retail distribution of local arts and crafts. The requirements are designed to protect the essential characteristics of the district and provide protection for the surrounding neighborhood.
