The General Business (B-3) District is intended to apply primarily to provide locations for planned commercial centers, sharing a common identity, parking and other support facilities developed according to an overall development plan; and for a wide range of goods and services to serve a market beyond the community itself. Such commercial concentrations are expected to draw substantial patronage from outside areas and are not expected to serve the convenience needs of local residents.
