Traffic flow improvements are underway, including a new exit on I-75 directly into Epperson. Epperson, along with the lagoon community of Mirada to the north, forms a Connected City District. The combination of the Connected City, Metro Lagoons, and Innovation Commons is designed to attract homeowners and visitors and ignite job growth, innovation, and excitement. Construction of the interchange at I-75 and Overpass Road is complete. This new diamond interchange includes a flyover ramp for westbound Overpass Road access to south I-75. Overpass Road has been widened from two lanes to four lanes between I-75 and Old Pasco Road, and six lanes between I-75 and Boyette Road. Ultimately, Overpass is six lanes from Boyette to US 301. Blair Drive is realigned to connect with Old Pasco Road. These improvements are now complete.
