Overview

Turnkey Penthouse Executive Office Suite

This turnkey exclusive penthouse executive office suite is available for occupancy, offering private elevator access directly into a meticulously designed executive office space. The suite features six spacious private offices, all benefiting from abundant natural light and window perimeter views. An additional, smaller interior office is suitable for use as a compact conference room. The space is further complemented by a well-equipped kitchen, a dedicated copy area, a generously sized open reception area, and a spacious conference room. Four parking spaces are available at an additional rate. The building is situated adjacent to a marketplace with over 7,000 square feet of space and a large variety of food and beverage options, as well as a landscaped courtyard area which is home to a selection of inspiring large-scale sculptures and ample seating surrounding a tranquil fountain. Originally built in 1891, the building housed the Rockingham County Jail until 1950, later becoming the city's police station until 1991. The building is the sole surviving example of Richardsonian Romanesque architecture in downtown Portsmouth, featuring an asymmetrical facade, slate hip roof, and brick, granite, and terra cotta details. After being purchased in 1994, the building underwent extensive remodeling, including the removal of jail cells and window bars, and floors were rebuilt. A four-story, modern brick and granite addition was completed in 2001. The building now comprises 34,000 square feet and is leased as business suites. The property offers 3,921 square feet of office space.
