Bison Peak Lodge is a 36.72-acre resort built for year-round hospitality, originally constructed in 1940 and expanded and renovated beginning in 2018. The property includes a 4,050-square-foot lodge with a guest reception area, commercial-grade kitchen, game room, loft library, and multiple walkouts to patio spaces with mountain views. Lodging options span traditional rooms, decorated cabins, fully appointed teepees, Conestoga wagon cabins, geodome tents, and individual campsites. The resort also features utilities throughout, including on-grid electricity and Starlink internet, plus water from a permitted well for domestic and commercial use.

The resort sits in the Tarryall Creek valley in central Colorado and is directly bound on three sides by Pike National Forest, providing exclusive walk-in access to surrounding public lands. Access is available via Park County maintained Road 77 from US Highway 285 and via US Highway 24 near Lake George. Second Creek traverses the property from west to east, and there is a seasonal flow stream that supports beaver ponds, including one stocked with trout. A Conditional Use Permit through Park County allows the resort to operate as both a retreat center and commercial campground in perpetuity.

From a tenant and operator perspective, the mix of lodging formats supports multiple guest experiences while the Nuche Pavilion event center adds an additional hospitality revenue channel. The 2022-built event facility is 3,478 square feet, divisible for smaller break-out rooms and includes an upper-level mezzanine, prep kitchen, beverage service area, restrooms, covered porch space, and roll-up glass doors. Expansion planning is supported by pre-developed sites with utility extensions, along with Phase I capacity described under the CUP for additional camping teepees and/or platform cabins and Phase II for further luxury teepees and/or platform cabins.
