Designed by architect Philip Johnson, this 52-story building is a recognizable landmark. It features an eight-story curved glass atrium with Ed Carpenter's "Altaflora" sculpture. The Sherman Street lobby includes glass mosaic tile ceilings, brass lattice work, and granite patterns, enhanced with custom lighting, a mahogany and granite lobby desk, mahogany planters with Kentia palms, and leather chairs on hand-loomed area rugs. An on-site athletic facility offers showers, lockers, and cardiovascular and weight training equipment. A new building conference room is available for tenant use in board room and training configurations, equipped with video conferencing equipment. The Herschner Room is also available for tenant use, offering audio visual equipment for large meetings and events. ENERGY STAR certification was achieved through lighting retrofitting to high-efficiency T8 bulbs with electronic ballasts and the installation of variable frequency drives on the air handling system. The lighting retrofit saves an estimated two million kilowatt hours annually.
