    Gateway Tower, located 0.4 miles from the Rockville Metro Station and 1.5 miles from I-270, offers office space for rent. The Rockville Metro Station is serviced by MARC and METRO. The building was sold on November 1, 2006, as part of a 1031 exchange. Building renovations were completed in August 2001. Renovations in 2000 included a complete cosmetic renovation, including elements of the facade, a new main lobby and common areas, and all new windows. DLV was the architect for the renovations. Modernization of all building systems, including mechanical and electrical, was also completed. The building features tremendous power fed by PEPCO via 3 separate lines. The parking deck was engineered and built to accommodate an additional 50,000 square feet of office space. The building has large, efficient rectangular floor plans and a steel and concrete exterior construction. The available space is 2991 square feet.
