The high-speed rail will reach top speeds of more than 200 mph, transporting passengers across the Mojave Desert in approximately 2 hours with amenities, while eliminating more than 325,000 tons of carbon dioxide each year with a zero emission train. This project is expected to create more than 35,000 jobs through its construction period with more than 1,000 permanent jobs. The property is in an up-and-coming development area with proximity to the future site of the High Speed Train Station and easy access to Interstate 15, as well as proximity to a major industrial project.
