Manatee County is finalizing a road widening project to widen Moccasin Wallow Road to 4 lanes. Moccasin Wallow is designated as one of two major arterial roadways north of the Manatee River. An estimated 4.7 acres are buildable, net of wetlands. A new 154-bed BayCare Hospital is slated to open in 2027.
