    Overview

This 80-acre parcel, known as Patty Creek Ontonagon River West REIT, is located in Rockland Township, Ontonagon County, near Victoria Dam, approximately 0.6 miles north of Old Victoria and a half mile southwest of the Ontonagon River. The property is currently in Michigan's CFA program, and a portion or all of it would need to be removed to allow for construction. There are numerous potential building sites. Legal access is provided via a logging road off of the Victoria-Norwich Cut Across Road. The gravel and dirt road system to and within the acreage is seasonal. The land was previously logged and now consists mostly of a young, well-stocked aspen stand, with areas of larger timber along intermittent creek drainages. These drainages are populated with softwood, hardwood, and large white pine trees. The tract is situated in an area abundant with wildlife and borders thousands of acres of corporate CFA land and USA National Forest lands, creating an excellent habitat for white-tailed deer, black bear, grouse, rabbit, and other mammals and birds. The property and surrounding area offer opportunities for hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, ATV riding, hiking, snowshoeing, kayaking, mountain biking, and boating.
