Overview

The subject property is the former Marana Community Correctional Treatment Facility (MCCTF), previously one of 13 prison facilities in Arizona housing prisoners of the Arizona Department of Corrections (ADC). This secure, minimum custody private prison was under contract with the Arizona Department of Corrections to provide custody and substance abuse treatment for 450 adult male offenders demonstrating a need for substance or alcohol abuse intervention. The facility, located in Marana, Arizona, originally opened on October 7, 1994, and was operated and managed by Management and Training Corporation of Utah until its closure at the end of 2023.
