    Overview

    West Reading Restaurant/Retail Opportunity

This classic red brick building, featuring a glass facade and patio, is located on Penn Avenue, offering prime access to West Reading and Wyomissing clientele. The building, formerly home to GNA Ristorante and Pizzeria since 2006, is designed with flexibility in mind, featuring a banquet area, main dining room, bar with bar dining, and a casual area with inviting booths. A side entrance provides customers with easy access to carry-outs from the pizzeria. The 10,569 square foot building is large enough to support four separate areas and/or four businesses, offering redevelopment potential or the opportunity to extend the established reputation for high-quality food and drinks. Originally built in 1939 as Moore’s Restaurant and later Queen City Diner, the building underwent major renovations from 2006 to 2012. The exterior features masonry and red brick with Dryvit added in 2006, anodized aluminum frame insulated glass windows, and a wood roof system, both flat and arched, clad with a mechanically fastened rubber membrane in 2015. Interior finishes include Italian tile floors, a grid-type ceiling set at 10’ AFF, and insulated partition walls. The commercial kitchen has a red tile floor, smooth cleanable walls, and hood systems with both make-up air and integrated fire suppression systems. The banquet area includes a floor-to-ceiling sound retardant curtain-wall and door for privacy, enabling larger groups to be hosted. This area can be coupled with the main dining room to accommodate groups of over 100.
