The Thornwood Self Storage building sits on 0.89 acres of land and will be accessed via a permanent easement Right of Way through the adjacent Safeguard Self Storage property. The gross building area is planned to be 50,500 square feet, with a net rentable square footage (NRSF) of 34,296, containing 371 rental units on three floors, plus a wine storage component and solar roof panels. A demand study indicates only 2.2 square feet of storage space per person within a 3-mile trade area, with an average household income exceeding $150,000. Construction has begun, with an expected completion date of December 17, 2018.
