Two entrances provide access to the old homestead, barns, and outbuildings. The area is perimeter fenced, with barn sections separated by cross fencing along the property's width at the bottom. Cattle graze the slopes leading up the hill, where there are somewhat level areas below the ridge top. A driveway, still usable, runs diagonally across the hill into the woods. Mature, tall trees create a full canopy in the woods. A road stretches across the property, close to the far edge, turning up and back towards a clearing at a higher level. The road running through the field may need smoothing, but it provides access to potential home sites. One site is roughly halfway up on a bench behind a line of trees, while a higher site is at the top, just below the ridgeline, in a large grassy area tucked into an alcove created by the surrounding woods. The property supports cattle and has a large area of lush land at the bottom suitable for other animals and gardens. A few outbuildings or barns might still be usable. The farmhouse, built in 1959, is not livable. The old septic system may still be viable. The farmhouse was served with spring water from the nearby Sneedville Utility building. A well is needed as the city is no longer providing water from that source. Electricity is available, and possibly fiber internet. The town of Sneedville is within a 10-minute drive. The surrounding area features rolling farms with homes and manicured land. This property is part of an estate, and three additional properties across the street are also available. There are no restrictions. The land has been maintained and is ready for building.
